Content Specialist II

Summary:
As a Communications Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting corporate communications by developing, writing, and editing impactful messaging. This position is central to crafting compelling content, managing communication systems, and enabling the successful delivery of strategic events.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute engaging communication content for internal audiences across our division and the broader community.
- Implement and adhere to an editorial calendar in collaboration with the Communications Manager and Operations team members.
- Create content for multiple platforms, including internal websites, workplace posts, product descriptions, videos, and blogs.
- Manage critical communication systems and processes, including publication review workflows, forms, surveys, dynamic email groups, and automated forms.
- Map processes to identify inefficiencies and develop streamlined solutions, templates, and updated website formats.
- Provide support for strategic events, including conferences, All Hands meetings, and symposia.
Required Skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to build positive relationships.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Foundational understanding of principles and methods for promoting and selling products or services.
- Basic knowledge of media production and communication techniques, including dissemination strategies.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent training preferred.
- Familiarity with forecasting and tracking marketing and sales trends through data analysis.
- Experience collaborating with corporate sales teams to craft and finalize press releases on monthly and annual timelines.
Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
Role type: Contract 12 Month Position
Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday (Extended schedule as needed Saturday-Sunday)
