Marketing Automation Specialist IV
Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Marketing Automation Specialist with 5–7 years of experience to join our Automation & Delivery team. In this role, you will drive last-mile campaign delivery by developing personalized, scalable experiences across email, messaging, and web touchpoints. You will take ownership of technical execution in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), including journey building, automation, and end-to-end delivery.
As part of this role, you will work across integrated channels—ranging from email to WhatsApp messaging and splash/webinar pages—ensuring seamless user journeys through real-time content, dynamic data integrations, and sophisticated campaign execution. You should be technically fluent, operationally excellent, and motivated to translate marketing strategy into impactful, real-world implementation.
Key Responsibilities

Build and optimize multi-step automation journeys in SFMC using tools like Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Content Builder.

Personalize dynamic content with Movable Ink and SFMC scripting languages (AMPscript, SSJS).

Utilize expertise in audience creation, logic setup, and governance across multiple channels.

Develop and deploy Splash pages for webinars, events, and landing page experiences.

Implement web forms and tagging with basic front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and oversee QA/testing across devices and platforms.

Integrate real-time audience insights and segmentation into campaigns using Salesforce Data Cloud.

Use SQL to perform audience segmentation, manage data extensions, and conduct performance analysis in SFMC and external data environments.

Collaborate with teams using tools like Highspot to manage content uploads, attribution, and performance reporting, ensuring insights drive future campaigns.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (MarTech, Analytics, Creative) to manage timelines, requirements, and technical campaign delivery.

Ensure compliance with data governance policies, tagging standards, and campaign QA best practices.
Required Qualifications

5–7 years of hands-on experience with SFMC, including expertise in Journey Builder, AMPscript, SQL, and cross-channel campaign execution.

Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Data Cloud for targeting and personalization.

Proficiency with Knack, particularly in logic structuring and audience governance.

Experience with Splash, Zoom, and dynamic content tools like Movable Ink and Highspot.

Basic front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for building and troubleshooting content and forms.

Familiarity with measurement and attribution platforms like Tableau.

Excellent organizational and technical project management skills, with a proven ability to succeed in fast-paced, detail-intensive environments.

Location: United States (Onsite/Remote - PST)
Role type: Contract 12 Month Position
Expected hours: 40 per week
