Marketing Strategy & Operations Lead
Summary:
We are seeking a strategically-minded and operationally skilled Marketing Strategy & Operations Lead to join our team. This pivotal role will shape the heartbeat of our global marketing organization—from driving planning cycles and managing key workstreams to ensuring cross-functional alignment and budget accountability. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in SaaS enterprise businesses, preferably within Big Tech, and excels at navigating the intricacies of complex, global marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities

Lead Strategic Planning: Spearhead the annual and quarterly marketing planning processes by collaborating with cross-functional teams to align on goals, resource allocation, and execution strategies.

Own Cross-Functional Workstreams: Act as the connective tissue across brand, demand generation, product marketing, communications, and other teams—managing dependencies, connecting dots, and driving execution against shared priorities.

Communicate with Clarity: Produce clear, high-impact communications, from executive updates to team-wide memos. Confidently draft strategic briefs and present insights to VP-level stakeholders.

Manage Projects End-to-End: Take the lead on initiatives from conception to completion, often in ambiguous and dynamic environments. Develop structure and execute with discipline, even when starting from scratch.

Support Budget & Investment Decisions: Collaborate with marketing leaders and finance teams to monitor budgets, track expenditures, and guide investment decisions to align with business objectives.

Run Global Operations: Coordinate across regional teams, lead global standups, and maintain alignment across markets while accounting for cultural nuances and time zones.

Balance Today & Tomorrow: Address immediate business needs while creating frameworks to support future growth and the evolution of marketing strategies.
Minimum Qualifications

8+ years of experience in marketing, operations, or strategy roles, with a background in SaaS enterprise businesses; Big Tech experience strongly preferred.

Comprehensive understanding of global marketing functions and their interconnections within large-scale organizations.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write and present with clarity and purpose.

Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills, particularly with Director and VP-level audiences.

Proven success in launching and managing complex cross-functional projects.

Comfort working independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Exemplary project management skills and an innate ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.

Familiarity with marketing budgets and business planning processes.

Role type: Contract 12 Month Position
