IP Operations Project Manager
Summary:
The Product & Regulatory Operations organization plays a crucial role in ensuring user and business safety on our platform. We support critical operational priorities across Global Operations in close collaboration with Product, Engineering, Legal, and cross-functional stakeholders.
The Legal & Compliance team is dedicated to ensuring compliance with key legal and regulatory requirements, including financial obligations, the developer ecosystem, intellectual property protections, privacy matters, and emerging global regulations. By leveraging scalable operations and cutting-edge technology, we create processes that mitigate risk while enabling business growth.
As a Project Manager within the IP Operations team, you will drive the execution of strategic goals and priorities for core operational workflows. Your responsibilities will include evaluating enforcement health, managing notice and takedown processes, investigating enforcement trends, and addressing emerging risks with a product-driven mindset. This role requires a highly effective leader with strong cross-functional collaboration skills, operational excellence, and the ability to navigate legal and regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Workflow Execution: Lead and execute compliance strategies for core legal workflows, including the IP Persistent Violators program, assessing performance using key metrics and tracking trends with vendor teams.
- Enforcement & Risk Mitigation: Investigate IP strikes-based enforcement decisions, proactively identifying and addressing enforcement inaccuracies across reactive and proactive problem spaces while responding to legal escalations.
- Operational Process Enhancement: Strengthen operational systems and reporting mechanisms, troubleshooting tooling issues and ensuring efficient workflows.
- Training & Coaching: Conduct learning sessions, provide coaching, and oversee vendor team training to deploy optimized moderation processes.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Negotiate, assess, and communicate trade-offs in operational decisions, collaborating with broader teams to enhance process maturity.
- Stakeholder Accountability: Ensure alignment and accountability in operational readiness by proactively addressing roadblocks while fostering productive relationships in high-pressure situations.
- Strategic Communications: Deliver clear, concise, and persuasive program communications, including root cause analysis, escalation coordination, leadership updates, and business recommendations for stakeholders.
- Regulatory Alignment: Maintain a deep understanding of legal and compliance frameworks, delivering outcomes that align with industry best practices and our mission-driven objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, or program management, particularly within legal & compliance.
- Strong critical thinking skills, leveraging data to anticipate problems and drive actionable solutions.
- Experience in Legal, Public Policy, or Regulatory operations, including audit, control, and safeguard management.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize competing responsibilities.
- Expertise in developing and improving operational systems and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration, coordinate effectively, and inspire teams.
- Skilled in conflict resolution, identifying trade-offs, and setting clear priorities to achieve win-win outcomes.
- Experience in risk management and compliance prioritization.
- Effective communicator with the ability to deliver strategic messaging tailored to diverse audiences.

Role type: Contract 6 Month Position
