Content Specialist IV
The Content Specialist will play a key role in supporting the Infra Data Centers Content team, ensuring the creation of high-quality content and communications that engage and inform our audiences. This position requires a proactive and adaptable professional with strong communication skills, digital marketing expertise, and a solid understanding of digital creative tools.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in project management, stakeholder engagement, and administrative functions. They will have proven writing and editing abilities, as well as a keen understanding of content analytics and creative media production. Experience in graphic design, video editing, or digital storytelling is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide content support to the Infra Data Centers Content team, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Manage email aliases, triaging incoming messages, filtering content, directing inquiries, and responding with boilerplate messages in a timely manner.
- Support research and development for a digital asset library, exploring off-the-shelf online and digital tools.
- Source and liaise with vendors, ensuring the delivery of required content-related services.
- Provide template support for content creation, including data organization and preparation for external vendor design.
- Develop and enhance graphics and visual content that captivates audiences and strengthens brand identity.
- Assist with video content creation, including timestamp compilation, editing instructions for vendors, and pulling clips from existing videos.
- Compile a database of annual commemorative dates and key events, curate content using existing materials, manage internal review processes, and oversee the documentation of content plans.
- Update Google Slide presentations with annual statistics or narrative adjustments, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Review videos for sound bytes, extracting quotes for use in future content development.
- Draft blog posts based on existing social media content and other published materials.
- Track and analyze content data, sourcing key insights from external platforms and cross-functional internal partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, demonstrating effective project management and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Communications or Digital Marketing (Masters degree preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in Communications or Digital Marketing, with expertise in social and web platforms.
- Proven writing and editing skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in tailoring communication for different audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in creative video production or graphic design, including experience with Canva, Adobe Suite, or other digital creative tools.
- Experience with data management and analytics tools.
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and digital publishing platforms.
