Communications Designer - Design Editorial & Brand Team

Summary:

The Design Editorial & Brand team is seeking a talented Communications Designer to collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners in crafting engaging visual narratives across multiple multimedia formats. The ideal candidate will have strong design acumen, be proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with brand storytelling and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with teammates and cross-functional partners to develop visually compelling multimedia stories.
  • Work across various program areas—including learning and development curriculum, all-hands meetings, wireframes, blog assets, and social media content.
  • Ideate, design, and produce multifaceted visual content, whether creating a Keynote or Google Slides presentation, mocking up a website wireframe in Figma, or producing an animation for social media.
  • Plan, manage, and execute a content pipeline aligned with the team’s communications goals—engaging both internal employees and external audiences interested in Design.
  • Develop and refine visual concepts and themes to effectively communicate complex ideas through compelling imagery.
  • Design and execute presentation templates, infographics, illustrations, iconography, graphics, animations, and social media content from start to finish.
  • Ensure a consistent visual style that aligns with the Design brand voice and company brand guidelines.
  • Lead outreach and collaboration efforts with partners and stakeholders to ensure seamless content creation and relationship management.
  • Establish and evolve best practices for archiving digital assets to maintain accessibility and organization.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in communications or branding design.
  • 3–5+ years of experience creating content across multiple platforms and formats.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including:
    • Photoshop
    • Illustrator
    • InDesign
    • After Effects
    • Other relevant packages
  • Proficiency in:
    • Google Workspace (G Suite)
    • Keynote
    • Figma
  • Proven track record of engagement with launched projects, demonstrating impact and quality execution.

Location: United States (Remote)

Role type: Contract 6 Month Position

Expected hours: 40 per week
