AI Content Specialist III

Summary:

The Content Specialist is responsible for writing, reviewing, and editing content across our platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and engagement. This role requires strong editorial judgment, expert writing and editing skills, and a deep understanding of social media norms and trends to create content that resonates with diverse audiences.

Job Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and review content across various formats, ranging from creative copy to informative, structured text.
  • Apply strong writing skills in diverse use cases across platforms, demonstrating versatility in writing styles and creativity.
  • Conduct analysis and generate reports with actionable insights for partners.
  • Review content at scale using established guidelines, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Leverage expertise in social media trends and internet culture to craft engaging, culturally relevant content.
  • Collaborate with content and product teams to enhance the user experience.
  • Maintain flexibility to work an extended schedule, including weekends when required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in journalism, digital content strategy, or production.
  • Prior experience in prompt engineering, annotation, and AI tool utilization.
  • Deep understanding of the social media landscape, emerging trends, and viral content dynamics.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and demonstrated editorial judgment in nuanced topics such as politics, bias, gender, and religion, ensuring high-quality content moderation.
  • Familiarity with AP Style for editorial consistency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet applications (Google Sheets, MS Excel) and other data analytics tools.
  • Ability to perform and support basic data analysis and visualization.
  • Experience creating and publishing multimedia content, including text, audio, and video.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.

Location: United States (Remote)

Role type: Contract 6 Month Position

Expected hours: 40 per week
