Web Producer - Content Migration

Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Web Producers to support the content migration from our current Human Resources Knowledge Base (HRKB) to a new Knowledge Management System (KMS). The Web Producer will be responsible for converting articles, performing quality assurance checks, and addressing any issues that arise during the migration process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Article Conversion: Accurately convert articles from HRKB to KMS, ensuring that all content—including text, images, links, and formatting—is correctly transferred.
  • Quality Assurance (QA): Conduct thorough QA reviews on migrated content to confirm successful, complete, and accurate transfer.
  • Error Identification and Resolution: Detect and resolve content migration issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Script Issue Detection: Identify whether errors are related to broader script issues and flag them appropriately, avoiding repetitive manual fixes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the project manager and other stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and timely progress.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive records of migration progress, identified issues, and resolutions.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with XML. Experience with content management systems (CMS) and knowledge base systems is highly preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify inconsistencies and ensure content accuracy.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze issues and determine root causes for more efficient resolution.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills for collaboration with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet project deadlines.

Location: Remote (United States)

Role type: Contract 3 Month Position 

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday (Extended schedule as needed Saturday-Sunday)
