About the Role
Our client is seeking a product-savvy strategic thinker to join its Product Policy & Strategy team as a Product Policy Coordinator with a focus on multimodal red teaming. In this role, you will provide vital policy support for Generative AI products—ensuring that models are fair, inclusive, and capable of engaging responsibly with a spectrum of perspectives on sensitive and high-impact issues.
You will contribute directly to model safety and ethical integrity by conducting adversarial testing of large language and multimodal models. Your work will address emerging policy risks across political, societal, and global contexts—helping shape responsible AI development at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead red-teaming exercises to uncover political or ideological bias in text and multimodal AI systems, with a primary focus on U.S. and high-priority global markets
- Collaborate across Policy, Product, and Trust teams to identify and prioritize high-risk scenarios related to elections, breaking news, and other time-sensitive global events
- Seamlessly switch between structured long-term red-teaming efforts and agile rapid-response assessments during critical situations
- Synthesize test findings to expose systemic trends and inform policy, safety mitigations, and model development strategies
- Clearly communicate insights and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders, enabling informed product and policy decisions
- Support launch preparedness by contributing to risk assessments and identifying policy-aligned pathways for Generative AI product deployment
- Continuously monitor the global political and policy landscape to stay ahead of evolving risks and sensitivities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
- 5+ years of experience addressing technology-related public policy, governance, or regulatory challenges
- Deep familiarity with the U.S. political and policy environment
- Experience working with Generative AI systems and technologies
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to independently navigate complex, ambiguous problem spaces
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
