About the Role We’re looking for a highly creative and experienced Social Media Producer to join our team and help shape the voice and presence of our design storytelling on platforms like Instagram and Threads. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying, creating, and curating original content that resonates with global creative communities—while staying at the forefront of internet culture and art and design trends.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Development

  • Contribute to research and concept development for new forms of visual storytelling on Instagram and Threads
  • Discover and amplify cultural and creative trends across diverse communities and disciplines
  • Assist in maintaining an organized and strategic editorial calendar

Audience Insights & Analytics

  • Support the creation of monthly insights reports to assess performance, learnings, and growth opportunities
  • Understand audience behavior and engagement to optimize content strategy

Community Management & Collaboration

  • Actively engage with our audiences on Instagram and Threads via comments and DMs
  • Partner with internal teams, external artists, and creative collaborators to elevate our brand storytelling
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, systems, and communication

Content Creation & Production

  • Support day-to-day content publishing on Instagram and Threads, ensuring content is brand-aligned and organized
  • Help ideate, produce, and refine original content for ongoing series and new initiatives
  • Conduct interviews, write creative briefs, and manage timelines with external creatives
  • Provide editorial feedback and oversee quality control, including music selection, captions, and fact-checking
  • Experiment with new tools and creative formats to drive account growth and engagement

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a creative role focused on producing and managing social content
  • Deep familiarity with Instagram and Threads features (Reels, Stories, Feed), and comfort creating across formats
  • A strong understanding of online trends, emerging culture, humor, and visual storytelling
  • Experience managing multiple projects and collaborating with leadership, creative partners, and cross-functional teams
  • Experience creating for international audiences and managing quick-turn, responsive content
  • Solid copywriting skills and design sensibility for social-first campaigns
  • Background or knowledge in the art and design world

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a creative department with a strong focus on visual storytelling
  • Demonstrated success creating content for international audiences
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects)
  • Familiarity with Figma or other collaborative design tools

Location: Remote (EST/NYC strongly preferred)

Role type: Contract 6 Month Position

Expected hours: 40 per week
