3D Artist - Character & Stylized Art
Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior 3D Artist to help bring our cutting-edge visual showcase vision to life through real-time production assets. In this role, you will create high-quality key art to guide scalable content creation, shape asset authoring pipelines, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to solve creative and technical challenges. You’ll also play an important role in driving external development and establishing standards that elevate the quality and efficiency of our art production workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate high-level visual concepts into production-ready real-time 3D assets
- Create exemplary key art that sets the benchmark for scaled content pipelines
- Collaborate with engineers and technical artists to influence and optimize asset creation workflows
- Partner with external vendors, providing actionable feedback to uphold quality and consistency
- Define and document asset authoring processes, standards, and pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve cross-disciplinary production challenges quickly and effectively
- Iterate collaboratively across teams to meet evolving creative and technical needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a 3D artist specializing in character modeling, sculpting, and texturing—with credit on at least 3 shipped titles
- Proven expertise creating humans and creatures in a range of artistic styles, with strong emphasis on stylized art
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across engineering, design, and art disciplines
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine or Unity)
- Proficiency with major content creation tools including Maya, Houdini, ZBrush, Substance Painter/Designer, and Photoshop
- Experience leading external development initiatives and driving vendor quality
- Broad technical knowledge and artistic adaptability to support diverse production goals

Role type: Contract 4 Month Position
Location: Remote (United States, PST preferred)
