Marketing Technology Program Manager (Events Platforms)
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager with deep experience in event platforms and strong program/project management capabilities. The ideal candidate brings 8–10 years of experience managing complex event technology ecosystems and partnering with both business and technical stakeholders to define, refine, and execute project requirements.
This role sits within our client’s Global Business Marketing organization and plays a critical part in advancing their marketing technology strategy. The Program Manager will collaborate closely with marketing, engineering, operations, data science, policy, privacy, and legal teams to evaluate new initiatives, enhance existing platforms, and strengthen cross‑functional alignment. A significant portion of this role will focus on event‑related technology and experimentation programs.

Required Skills
- Quantitative & Detail‑Oriented: Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex projects and ensure accuracy across all program deliverables.
- Event Platform Expertise: Hands‑on experience with virtual, hybrid, and in‑person event management tools and workflows.
- Experimentation Strategy: Experience designing, executing, and analyzing experiments to optimize marketing technology and event platforms.
- Event Execution (Nice‑to‑Have): Familiarity with planning and executing events using self‑service technology solutions.
- Budget & Accounting (Nice‑to‑Have): Ability to manage budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Scaled Experimentation: Develop and execute experimentation strategies to enhance marketing technology platforms and operational processes.
- Budget Planning & Management: Oversee budgeting for marketing technology initiatives, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to financial targets.
- Event Tooling Integration: Facilitate the integration of event technologies into the broader martech ecosystem.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, engineering, operations, data science, policy, privacy, and legal teams to assess new initiatives and optimize existing platforms.
- Project Assessment: Evaluate and engage in projects related to events, martech integrations, and experimentation.
- Enablement & Training: Develop and deliver training materials and enablement resources to support adoption of new tools and processes across data science and marketing teams.
- Events Infrastructure & Integrations: Support event platform infrastructure and ensure seamless integration within the martech stack.
- Infrastructure Development: Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to build and enhance systems supporting data science and marketing operations.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Technical Account Management (TAM), Technical Program Management (TPM), or a related field.
