Product Marketing Manager, Ads & Automation

About the Role

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to support the development, launch, and growth of industry‑leading advertising and automation products. This role sits at the intersection of customer needs, market insights, and product innovation—helping shape solutions that enable businesses to grow and creative teams to work more efficiently.

The ideal candidate brings experience in digital advertising, monetization product management, or strategic marketing, and is comfortable driving cross‑functional initiatives in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment. You will partner closely with product, engineering, research, design, and marketing teams to define market requirements, guide product strategy, and execute go‑to‑market plans for a global customer base.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Market Strategy

  • Lead market assessments, quantitative analysis, and qualitative research to represent customer needs and market requirements to product and engineering teams.
  • Identify product risks, gaps, and opportunities to influence new product development and improve existing solutions.
  • Deeply understand advertiser workflows, pain points, and priorities to inform product recommendations.

Go‑to‑Market Leadership

  • Own go‑to‑market strategy for a portfolio of advertising and automation products.
  • Guide cross‑functional teams in developing product positioning, messaging, documentation, and client communications.
  • Ensure alignment and consistency across regional and vertical teams while supporting market‑specific needs.

Cross‑Functional Program Management

  • Drive execution of marketing assets, Help Center content, and internal/external communications.
  • Create and maintain GTM strategy documentation to ensure clarity and accessibility for partner teams.
  • Track deliverables, prepare status updates, and facilitate stakeholder communication to maintain momentum and alignment.

Support for Key Initiatives (e.g., “Automation 2.0”)

  • Support naming and positioning exercises, including coordinating briefs, organizing review sessions, and partnering with insights teams on message testing.
  • Help shape the next generation of AI‑powered advertising tools by collaborating with engineering, product, UXR, and creative partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Professional experience in technology, internet technology, strategic marketing, product management, or management consulting.
  • Strong organizational skills, including problem‑solving, multitasking, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and operate effectively amid ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a product marketing capacity.
  • Experience independently leading go‑to‑market efforts for products with global reach.
  • Ability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive alignment across competing perspectives.
  • Familiarity with advertising technology, automation tools, or AI‑driven marketing solutions.

Team Structure

This role supports a director‑led organization with approximately 14 extended team members and reports to a Product Marketing Manager.

Location: Onsite/Hybrid (SF, MPK, or NYC)

Role type: Contract 12 Month Position 

Expected hours: 40 per week
