System Engineer (Support)

Responsibilities:

• Be part of 24x7 support team;
• Configuring, troubleshooting and solving problems
• Monitoring the health of servers, cloud services, and infrastructure
• Analyzing system logs (Linux, Windows, cloud services) to identify root causes of incidents
• Troubleshooting issues related to OS, containers (Docker), networks, and CI/CD services
• Managing users, configuring permissions, and security policies
• Automating routine tasks using scripts (Bash, Python, Perl)
• Deploying, configuring, and maintaining services in a cloud environment
• Administering Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools
• Automating application deployment and testing
• Deploying and maintaining containerized applications in Docker

Technical skills

• 1+ years experience in administration of Linux;
• 1+ years experience in administration of Windows;
• 1+ years of experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure);
• Base knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar;
• 1+ years of hands-on experience at least in one scripting language (Perl/Python/Go/Bash);
• Understanding basic's of monitoring, different type of monitoring systems and their pluses and minuses. Ability to choose different types of monitoring types according to the situation.
• Manage source code with GIT or similar;
• Hands-on experience with Docker;
• Experience maintaining an infrastructure;
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools;
• Writing and reading skills in English.
