Assistant Superintendent

Assistant Superintendents work closely with the Project Superintendent and exchange leadership on the job to plan, support, and maintain efficient workflow. The Assistant Superintendent shares responsibility to ensure accurate installation of specified building structures, systems, and architectural components in correct sequence. The Assistant Superintendent will assist in executing many project delivery tasks including administrative requirements, planning, scheduling, quality assurance, quality control, layout, document management, daily activity execution, constraint mitigation, and other tasks as needed.

• Planning Safe Work and Safety Compliance
• Building Layout
• Self Perform Work Planning and Execution
• Quality Assurance/Quality Controls
• Workflow Planning and Coordination with Trade Foremen
• Site Logistics Planning, Coordination, and Organization
• Manage Materials Receiving, Storage, and Staging
• Manage Site Organization
• Site Security
• Project Administration

Basic Requirements:

• Basic Computer Software Programs
• Building Layout Fundamentals
• Construction Experience at This Level or a Degree in Construction with Two Years Experience
• Desire and Ability to Work Within a Team
• Proficient in reading plans
• Good written and verbal communication skills
