HR Generalist

About the Opportunity:
LINK is actively seeking an HR Generalist to support and enhance our growing team. In this role, you’ll be a key partner in the day-to-day administration of HR processes, including onboarding, compliance, benefits coordination, timekeeping, and employee experience. Reporting to the Senior Director of HR, you’ll help ensure smooth, consistent, and people-centered operations across the full employee lifecycle.
This position is a great fit for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about building strong HR systems and clear internal communication. As our HR Generalist, you'll play a vital role in supporting our employees, reinforcing a culture of care and accountability, and strengthening LINK’s foundation as we continue to grow.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on generalist or HR operations roles
- Demonstrated experience managing key HR functions such as onboarding, recruiting, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and compliance best practices
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to interact professionally across levels
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Responsibilities:
- Onboarding & Off-boarding Administration
- Facilitate onboarding for new hires, including processing NDAs, MSAs, and coordinating enrollment with Insperity.
- Ensure compliance with state-based programs and other requirements through coordination with Insperity.
- Schedule onboarding meetings and manage onboarding agendas and communications using established templates.
- Coordinate offboarding processes, exit interviews, and documentation
- Contractor Management
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance are completed for all contractors.

- Benefits Administration
- Support 401(k) enrollment, rollover, and account updates in coordination with the Director of Accounting.
- Help administer employee leave (e.g., parental, military) and respond to benefits-related inquiries.
- Support ongoing benchmarking and benefit evaluations to ensure competitiveness in the market.

- Candidate Experience & ATS Management
- Use Greenhouse (ATS) to manage applicant flow, communication, and interview scheduling.
- Coordinate recognition efforts such as employee gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, and milestones.

- Employee Relations & Culture
- Partner with leadership on employee relations issues, performance processes, and team engagement
- Act as a trusted resource for employees regarding HR policies and day-to-day questions
- Help drive internal communications and culture-building initiatives
- Lead coordination of employee experience touchpoints (e.g., sending flowers for bereavement or celebration).
- Internal HR Operations
- Maintain and update employee records and HRIS systems
- Support implementation and maintenance of the employee handbook, policies, and procedures
- Assist with compliance requirements and record keeping
- Oversee onboarding of 1099 contractors, including agreements and payment setup
Work Schedule:
- Full time, 40 hours per week
- Some travel required to meet with prospects/clients, attend relevant events and conferences, and participate in LINK team events
