About the Team
The Valuations and Portfolio Monitoring practice line is one of the fastest growing area’s at Lionpoint Group. The reason for this surge in demand is due to our firms unique ability to infuse technology, automations and various control’s around a process that is notoriously manual and inefficient. As we look to grow and meet client demand, Lionpoint is looking to add someone who has a strong understanding and experience with performing valuation work on a private markets portfolio. Your time will be dedicated to the Private Markets industry, helping investment firms bring their future vision to fruition in an efficient, innovative and scalable way. Responsibilities
You will work on client engagement teams participating in the entire lifecycle of designing and implementing best-practice Valuation models. You will help to manage current state / future state analysis, strategic design, initiative prioritization, sequencing, roadmapping and a phased approach to delivery. Through that journey it will be important for you to build strong client relationships of trust and domain experience. As you build knowledge and experience, you'll become a credible advisor to junior consultants within the organization, as well as your clients, helping them accelerate the delivery of products and services to their users. As Lionpoint continues its growth to a leader in Private Markets Technology, your ability to stay at the forefront of innovative solutions will be critical.

- Ability to foster relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels and to consistently deliver quality client services

- Ability to understand and elicit requirements from client stakeholders through interviews or working sessions

- Strong communication skills with the ability to identify improvement opportunities in a client's operating model to execute more effectively
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years experience doing Valuation Work and/or management consulting, technology or operating in the Private Markets Investment Industry
- Experience in all of the various valuation methodologies for a Private Equity Investment
- Discounted Cash Flow Analysis
- Market Comparable Analysis
- Precedent TransactionsLiquidation Analysis
- Cost Approach
- Experience in all of the various valuation methodologies for a Private and Public Credit Investment
- Discounted Cash Flow Analysis
- Mark to Market
- Implied % of Par
- Experience working with a Portfolio Monitoring Technology (ie, Chronograph, 73 Strings, Dynamo, Cobalt, iLevel, AtomInvest)
- Strong Project Management skills
- Experience in constructing client deliverables including Business Requirement Document (BRD), Process Flows, Functional Capability Matrix, Project Plans / Roadmaps, Data Dictionary, IT Architecture Design, Data Flow Diagrams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to create a compelling story from data analysis
- Experience communicating with senior executives
- Experience defining, communicating and tracking metrics for success (OKRs and KPIs)
- Ambitious and entrepreneurial in nature with the desire to grow in a collaborative environment

There are a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to - skill sets, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the salary range is $77,000 to $127,000 subject to change based on salary benchmarking. In addition to this salary, candidates will be eligible for a variable bonus.
