About the Role:

In response to rapid growth within the Limited Partner Space and significant market opportunity, we are looking to hire a Director to oversee the practice group within the UK &EMEA. This position will report to the Senior Partner of Limited Partner Services and will be responsible for business development and regional group oversight for consulting services within Limited Partner Services. Additionally, the role will work closely with the broader leadership team on new business opportunities, current project portfolio and other internal initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in software solutions within the practice area, excellent communication skills, and the drive to lead the build out of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Business Development Initiatives in UK and EMEA, this includes deal sourcing and outreach
  • Ensure a high-quality client experience from sales through to delivery and project close
  • Recruit, train and develop team members to enable the practice to scale
  • Clearly articulate the Lionpoint value proposition for the practice area
  • Develop relationships with key client stakeholders
  • Develop relationships with technology vendors and partners
  • Collaborate with Marketing on content development and client/prospect communications
  • Attain revenue and margin goals for the practice
  • Report and Manage Current UK/EMEA Staff including Utilization Targets, Project Resourcing and Senior Partner Support
  • Craft presentations, proposals, and statements of work
  • Assist with new and existing partnership relationships with vendors and help build a pipeline
  • Engage with other teams within Lionpoint/Alpha to expand the practice footprint to other clients

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in private equity operations, with specific expertise in middle and back-office operations for accounting, reporting, system implementation, and deal management.
  • Business development and pre-sales/sales experience is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with software solutions such as BlackRock eFront, SimCorp Dimension
  • Ability to coach and develop others and build out a team
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
