Role Overview:

The Regional Field Marketing Manager (RFMM) is responsible for driving Liquid Death partnerships and national marketing assets in NYC to drive sales, brand awareness, and gather valuable market insights in partnerships with Sales, Distributor Partners and Retailers.

 

Role Scope:

  • Work cross-functionally with key internal and external teams (LD sales team and LD distributor partners) to implement brand experiences across local events, retail sampling, national partnerships, to increase target customer awareness and build deeper connections with the largest/most valuable distributor partners
  • Understand the unique challenges that come with New York City sampling events and adapt national marketing plans to help drive samples and sales 
  • Negotiate, execute, and evaluate partnership, sampling & sales opportunities
  • Manage and lead Brand Ambassadors
  • Manage Activation Vehicles in market 
  • Increase brand awareness and drive trial by securing on-brand, local sampling opportunities
  • Become a collaborative partner with Big Geyser Inc. and other key Northeast regional distributor partners to maximize investment, alignment and retail execution
  • Attend weekly and monthly sales and distributor meetings in person & virtually 
  • Plans to report monthly marketing plans and updates
  • Manage year-round retail sampling program to support key accounts in the NYC metro and other key regional markets
  • Develop 100 Days of summer Field Marketing Plans to support NYC delivering weekly recaps and cross functional ways of working with Big Geyser Inc. 
  • Support and assist with managing partnership deliverables for Madison Square Garden (New York Rangers), Summer Stage & Live Nation
  • Responsible for local budget management/expenses and adherence to corporate fiscal guidelines/policies
  • Monitor competitors, identify market nuances and reports/shares relevant activity and information

 

Qualification Targets:

  • Must be located in the NYC metro market
  • A Bachelor degree in business preferred 
  • A minimum of 4+ years of relatable field marketing experience in New York City in the beverage industry with grassroots marketing and sales merchandising experience required
  • Previous experience managing 3rd party Brand Ambassadors to educate consumers, build brand awareness and affinity, and manage guerrilla sampling tactics and staffing preferred 
  • A unique enthusiasm for life represented by a passion for cultural experiences across action sports, street art, music hip-hop/rap, punk/rock, and nightlife and the ability to leverage these passions into appropriate activities for Liquid Death
  • Previous sales platform reporting experience (Qlikview or VIP) preferred
  • Proficient in Excel (data entry, basic report generation) and PowerPoint 
  • Must have experience negotiating sponsorship agreements with ability to measure ROI and experience negotiating with event owners required
  • Exhibit high sense of urgency, be well organized, possess a great attitude, be a team player and have the ability to build strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to inspire confidence and quickly capture the trust and respect of team/ business partners
  • Excellent organization & communication skills, ability to multi-task and work within ambiguity and high pressure situations
  • Creative mind and prior successes in driving the creative process
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends as needed
  • Valid driver's license with willingness to drive a company provided vehicle 
  • Domestic travel up to 20% as needed 

 

Physical Requirement:

  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs. to lift product cases and event supplies

 

The typical salary range for this position is: $88,000 - $108,000

The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, education and location. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes equity and benefits.
