About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our leadership team and help steer the next phase of growth at our rapidly expanding beverage company. This role will be critical in shaping our financial strategy, scaling our FP&A capabilities, and driving performance across a business that’s redefining the beverage category.
The ideal candidate combines financial rigor with startup scrappiness — someone who can build robust systems, lead with data, and thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Financial Strategy: Own the company’s long-term financial planning, modeling, and forecasting — ensuring alignment between growth ambitions and financial discipline as well as lead the 3-statement modeling, scenario planning and sensitivity analysis across the financial statements
- Own capital strategy — evaluate financing options and support board-level discussions on growth investments and liquidity management. Drive working capital improvements
- Drive Performance: Deliver actionable insights into sales, marketing ROI, trade spend, and gross margin performance across retail and e-commerce channels
- Scale Infrastructure: Build scalable FP&A processes, tools, and dashboards that can evolve with a high-growth business. Drive automation and system improvements to improve speed and accuracy of financial insights
- Business Partnering: Lead and develop finance business partnerships with teams across the organization
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Lead the annual budget process and monthly rolling forecasts; identify key trends, risks, and levers to improve profitability
- Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability, and speed
Qualifications Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 10–15+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years leading FP&A in a high-growth CPG, beverage, or consumer brand environment
- Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, scaling organizations — ideally from startup through mid-size growth
- Deep understanding of CPG channel economics (retail, DTC, wholesale, and distribution)
- Expertise in financial modeling, KPI development, and scenario planning
- Advanced proficiency with ERP (NetSuite preferred) and modern FP&A tools
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills — able to distill complex financials into strategic insights for executive leadership
- Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable rolling up sleeves, moving fast, and finding creative solutions in an ever-evolving environment
- Domestic travel up to 10% required
The typical salary range for this position is: $250,000 - $290,000
