About the role:
Liquid IV is seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead the operations of our Order to Cash Deductions processes as we expand our deductions capability and team given the insourcing of customers from our broker, Emerson. This role will be responsible for leading the newly formed Order to Cash Deductions team of 6 team members overseeing Deductions and Controls.
Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:
- Lead our Deductions processing operations for entire B2B retail business
- Develop and optimize end-to-end Order to Cash workflows on deductions including trade (promotions, coupons, unsaleables etc) and non-trade (shortages, compliance fees etc) deductions, encompassing both the ERP and TPM tools
- Stabilize the technology backbone for Deductions in partnership with the IT team – internal and external
- Establish and enforce deductions (markdowns, unsaleables, returns, shortages) policies in collaboration with Sales and Supply Chain teams.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the 6 member strong Deductions team.
- Oversee the resolution of complex customer deductions, disputes, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Monitor key Order to Cash KPIs and trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports and insights to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- At least 7+ years work experience in Finance, including proven experience in Order to Cash Deductions management, preferably in a leadership role within a consumer goods or retail environment.
- Strong understanding of Trade Promotion Management (TPM) concepts and strategies.
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably D365) and Trade Promotion Management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, people management and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving process improvements and achieving operational excellence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Monitor key Order to Cash KPIs and trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Work Environment:

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
The compensation band for this position is $110,000 - $153,000 annually. The exact salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget.
