About the role:

Liquid I.V. is looking for a motivated, fast, and strategic thinker who thrives in a dynamic environment to join our Operations team as the Senior Demand Planning AnalystThis role is responsible for leading key aspects of the Demand Planning function across Supply Chain, focusing on finished goods forecasting for both retail and direct-to-consumer (D2C) channels.  As a cross-functional partner, this individual will collaborate regularly with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to drive forecast consensus, support budget alignment, and champion operational excellence. This individual will play a key role in our monthly S&OP process, sharing forecast updates, identifying performance gaps, and providing insights to senior leadership. This role, reporting directly to the Demand Planning Manager, will have a critical impact on bringing innovation to market, refreshing forecasts with the latest insights, and ensuring strategic alignment across the business. We’re looking for someone who thrives under pressure, adapts quickly to change, solves complex problems independently, and communicates insights with clarity and confidence. 

Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:

  • Lead monthly demand planning review meetings to share the latest forecast recommendations, gather the latest sales insights, and seek forecast alignment.  
  • Develop and maintain a 12–18 month rolling forecast at the channel level using Kinaxis and other planning tools, leveraging the latest information.  
  • Analyze forecasts to ensure accuracy and responsiveness with point-of-sale (POS) data, historical shipments, inventory levels, and customer supply plans. Lead root cause analyses for any gaps.  
  • Support the S&OP process through updating channel slides and presenting in monthly S&OP meetings to the leadership team. 
  • Provide facts and figures to justify demand assumptions and secure alignment across teams. 
  • Own innovation forecasting, including forecast creation, monitoring retailer acceptances, and ensuring products launch on time and in line with forecasts.   
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain team members to assess forecast feasibility and manage timing of product availability. 
  • Analyze pre- and post-launch item performance and contribute to launch planning and evaluation. 
  • Support demand planning alignment with broader Liquid I.V. business objectives and supply chain strategy. 
  • Consolidate data from multiple sources into actionable, easy-to-understand formats. 
  • Own and report on demand planning KPIs, including innovation KPIs. 
  • Proactively improve demand planning processes, tools, and ways of working for greater efficiency. 
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Liquid I.V. supply chain and business goals.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • Demand planning experience with direct-to-consumer (D2C) and large retailers for a CPG or similar business.  
  • Actively participated in S&OP, IBP or a similar process. 
  • Minimum 3–5 years relevant experience 
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Supply Chain, Operations, Mathematics, or related field). 
  • Experience forecasting using demand planning software; Kinaxis is a plus. 
  • Ability to learn and become proficient on new programs, dashboards, databases, and tools very quickly. (Power BI, D365, Circana) 
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint). 
  • Strong analytical abilities, able to perform data extraction and analysis in Excel. 
  • Ability to prepare reports with data visualization as necessary. 
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Possess problem-solving skills; think tactically as well as strategically. 
  • Demonstrate objectivity, deliver results, and show initiative. 
  • Effective communicator and collaborator – verbal and written. 
  • Comfortable public speaker and ability to present to business executives. 
  • Demonstrate ability to interact with all levels of business facing and internal operations in a thoughtful and attentive manner. 
  • Be highly organized and dependable. 
  • Comfortable working in a diverse and fast-paced environment, ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Must be flexible, work well under pressure, and can readily adapt to change.

Work Environment:

  • Office environment with flexibility for industry events. Most responsibilities of this job will be handled from the office. Travel: 10% of the time

The compensation band for this position is $86,100 - $129,100 annually. The exact salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget.  The listed range is applicable only to the annual base salary and does not include additional perks, benefits, or applicable bonus eligibility comprising the total compensation package.
