Social Worker - Child Protection and Permanency

Liquid Personnel are currently looking for experienced social workers to join a Child protection and permanency team in the East Midlands. This role is ideal for a qualified social worker who is looking for a new challenge within a very stable local authority that offers a very supportive management structure, small manageable caseloads and a great work life balance to go along with their GOOD Ofsted rating.

Duties of a Child protection and permanence social worker  

  • Carry a caseload consisting of CiC, CP and CiN cases.
  • Prepare assessments, CiN reviews and plans as well as CP and CLA plans
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records of files
  • Take part in team meetings and participate in team development
  • Prepare for case conferences, court and meetings when required

Key requirements for the role

  • Current SWE registration and valid right to work in the UK
  • Have completed your ASYE
  • UK driving licence
