Travel: Required across service user homes and provider sites
Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to join its client in Kirklees, supporting strength-based reviews across the borough. This is a fantastic opportunity to work flexibly while making a meaningful impact in the community.
You’ll be working with adults across Kirklees, conducting holistic assessments and delivering personalised interventions that promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Carry out strength-based reviews in service user homes and provider settings
- Assess functional needs and recommend appropriate equipment or adaptations
- Collaborate with social workers, care providers, and health professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely records using council systems
- Promote independence and reduce reliance on long-term care services
- Contribute to safeguarding processes and multi-disciplinary planning

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Experience in adult social care, ideally within a Local Authority
- Strong understanding of strength-based approaches and person-centred care
- Knowledge of equipment provision, adaptations, and community-based OT
- Ability to travel across Kirklees for home visits
- Excellent communication, time management, and IT skills
- Experience with Mosaic or similar case management systems (desirable)
