Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is proud to partner with a leading provider of specialist neurorehabilitation services in the search for a dedicated Service Manager to lead their residential service in Liverpool.

This is a standout opportunity to guide a multidisciplinary team in delivering exceptional, person-centred care to individuals recovering from brain injuries. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of service operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving continuous service development, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will,

  • Provide professional leadership and hands-on management support to staff across the service.
  • Line manage senior team members and clinicians, ensuring performance standards are met.
  • Oversee recruitment, induction, training, and staff development in line with employment law and best practice.
  • Manage service budgets and financial systems, including service user finances.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead on business development, marketing the service to commissioners and referrers.
  • Promote a responsive and inclusive service for service users, families, and stakeholders.
  • Chair review meetings and ensure service users are actively involved in their care planning.
  • Support service users in pursuing educational and vocational goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

  • QCF (NVQ) Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory requirements and legislation.
  • Proven experience managing high-quality residential services.
  • Skilled in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing staff performance.
  • Experience handling disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Financial management and budget oversight experience.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional unsocial hours.
