Occupational Therapist - Adult Social Care
Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join its client’s Adult Social Care team in Hull.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Social Care team, where the vision is clear: “a life, not a service.” This is a strengths-based, person-centred role focused on empowering individuals to live independently and achieve their goals.
What will your responsibilities be?
You’ll deliver solution-focused interventions that support residents’ independence, resilience, and wellbeing. Working closely with social care colleagues, health professionals, and housing partners, you’ll help shape positive outcomes for people across Hull.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting proportionate assessments and goal-setting conversations
- Providing practical support through equipment fitting, adaptations, and assistive technology
- Supporting individuals to access community groups, voluntary organisations, and universal services
- Promoting self-care and wellbeing through advice, training, and social prescribing
- Collaborating on safeguarding reviews, case conferences, and best interest decisions
- Working with housing teams to ensure adaptations meet individual needs
Qualifications & Experience:
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
- Experience in adult social care and community-based practice
- Strong communication and assessment skills
- Commitment to person-centred, strengths-based approaches
