Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join its client's Safeguarding Children Partnership (SCP) Team based in Middlesbrough. This is a vital role within a busy team, providing statutory services and interventions to children and families.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure their safety and well-being, while managing a varied and challenging caseload.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will:

• Undertake Children & Families assessments in line with statutory requirements
• Chair Core Groups and Child in Need meetings
• Prepare and maintain care plans and reports for children in our care
• Attend PLO meetings and contribute to pre-proceedings work
• Prepare Court evidence and attend hearings as required
• Work directly with children and families under Child in Need, Child Protection, PLO, and Court processes
• Carry out other social work tasks as directed by your manager

Qualifications & Experience:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Post-qualified experience in safeguarding
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
