Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for Children Social Worker based in Swindon.

What will your responsibilities be? 

  • Ensure children are central to assessments and planning.
  • Amplify the voice of the child or young person in decision-making.
  • Uphold and advocate for children’s rights and responsibilities. 
  • Operates under the Family Safeguarding Model.
  • QAROs ensure the best care is provided when children need to be looked after.
  • Emphasis on relationship-building, effective participation, and strengths-based approaches.
  • Positive progress in strategic joint working, especially between Children’s Services and Housing.
  • Children’s Commissioning Team is addressing service gaps and expanding accommodation options.
  • Acknowledgement that while progress is strong, continued improvement is needed.

Qualifications and Experience: 

 • Social Work England registration 
• Eligible to work in the UK 
• Hold a full UK driving licence 
• Post-qualified experience 
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
