Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Occupational Therapist for its client’s Adult Social Care team in Sefton, Merseyside.
Our client is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join the Occupational Therapy & Sensory Team within Adult Social Care. This is a community-based role focused on restoring daily living skills and promoting independence for adults with physical and psychological disabilities.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Conduct holistic, person-centred assessments in clients’ homes, focusing on mobility, self-care, and daily living activities.
• Provide equipment and adaptation recommendations, liaising with housing teams, contractors, and other professionals.
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, managing referrals from various sources.
• Deliver advice and therapeutic interventions to support independence and reduce long-term care needs.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold data protection standards.
• Supervise junior staff (OTs or CCPs) as required and contribute to service performance targets.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
• Experience in community-based functional assessments and equipment provision
• Strong understanding of disability management and housing adaptations
• Ability to work independently and across multi-agency boundaries
• Commitment to professional standards and safeguarding responsibilities
