Job Description:
Liquid Personnel are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Social Care team in Haringey. This is a standard OT role involving visits and assessments, with an additional requirement to support service users by providing and demonstrating safe use of essential equipment.
The successful candidate will be expected to collect small equipment (e.g. bath boards, toilet frames, commodes) from a local Haringey P store, deliver and install the items and ensure service users and carers are confident in their safe use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct community-based assessments and interventions to promote independence and wellbeing
- Collect, deliver, install, and demonstrate equipment to service users and carers
- Provide clear guidance on safe use of equipment to maximise independence and safety
- Maintain accurate records in line with statutory and professional standards
- Collaborate with colleagues across health and social care services
Requirements:
- HCPC Registration and relevant Occupational Therapy qualifications
- Experience in Adult Social Care preferred
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
- Car driver preferable, but not essential (taxi expenses can be claimed for deliveries)
