Occupational Therapist
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a full‑time Locum Occupational Therapist for its client's busy Adult Social Care service based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OT confident in managing a large and complex caseload while delivering high‑quality, timely assessments.
What will your responsibilities be?
You’ll play a key role in supporting safe and effective hospital discharges, ensuring individuals receive the right care package and support plan to maintain or improve their wellbeing. Working in line with national legislation and local procedures, you’ll deliver professional OT input that promotes independence, safety and recovery.
- Complete holistic OT assessments for adults with a wide range of needs
- Lead on hospital discharge planning, ensuring timely and safe transitions
- Determine appropriate care packages and support plans
- Manage a large, complex caseload with strong clinical reasoning
- Work collaboratively with MDT colleagues, hospitals and community services
- Ensure all practice aligns with national legislation and local service standards
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- HCPC‑registered Occupational Therapist
- Strong experience in hospital discharge pathways
- Confident managing complex caseloads
- Excellent assessment, planning and documentation skills
