Occupational Therapist – Double‑Handed Review
Liquid Personnel is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to support its client's Double‑Handed Review Project in Cheshire West. You’ll complete moving & handling assessments, identify right‑size care options, and make clear recommendations to safely reduce double‑handed care where appropriate.
Perfect for an OT confident working autonomously, delivering accurate clinical reasoning, and supporting strengths‑based, independence‑focused practice.
The Role
- Carry out moving & handling assessments for adults with complex needs
- Review double‑handed care packages and identify opportunities for safe reduction
- Provide clear, evidence‑based recommendations on right‑size care
- Liaise with care providers, MDT colleagues and families
- Maintain high‑quality documentation and deliver timely interventions
What You’ll Bring
- HCPC‑registered Occupational Therapist
- Strong experience in moving & handling and community OT
- Confidence completing complex reviews and risk assessments
- Excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet review targets
