Occupational Therapist - Community

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join its client’s Community Team at Chy Trevail, Bodmin. This role within a busy Adult Social Care service in Cornwall offers the opportunity to support individuals to remain independent and safe within their communities.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Carry out functional assessments, reviews, and care planning
  • Complete moving & handling assessments and provide interventions
  • Recommend specialist equipment, seating, and home adaptations (minor & major)
  • Promote independence through strengths-based, person-centred practice
  • Work collaboratively with health, housing, and partner agencies

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

  • Community OT experience
  • Strong knowledge of moving & handling, equipment, and adaptations
  • Ability to work independently across a large geographical area
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
