Occupational Therapist – Adult Community (Duty Team)
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Locum Occupational Therapist to join its client’s Adult Community (Duty Team), based in Croydon.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate daily duty functions within the Adult Community Occupational Therapy Service, working closely with Duty Managers and Senior Practitioners
- Triage, prioritise, and allocate Occupational Therapy referrals in a timely manner
- Provide updates, feedback, and reports as required to support service delivery
- Support effective risk management and waiting list management
- Contribute to quality assurance processes and service performance
- Support training and development of staff within the duty function
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Current HCPC registration (essential)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Proven experience in Adult Social Care Occupational Therapy
- Strong knowledge of specialist equipment provision, major adaptations, and manual handling of people
- Up‑to‑date moving and handling skills
- Good understanding of relevant Social Care and Health legislation
- Knowledge of community services and referral pathways
