Senior Locum Occupational Therapist – Equipment & Adaptations

Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join its client's Equipment and Adaptations Team, working with both adults and children in Wolverhampton. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality OT input around equipment provision and minor and major adaptations, supporting individuals to live safely and independently.

What will your responsibilities be? 

  • Complete occupational therapy assessments related to equipment and housing adaptations
  • Manage and deliver minor and major works recommendations
  • Work with both adult and children’s social care cases
  • Liaise closely with housing, contractors, and partner agencies
  • Provide professional senior‑level OT input, ensuring Care Act–compliant practice
  • Contribute to timely decision‑making to support safe home environments

Essential Requirements: 

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Experience working within social care
  • Strong experience in equipment and adaptations
  • Knowledge of minor and major works processes
  • Ability to work autonomously at a senior level 

Working Arrangements:

  • Full‑time: 37 hours per week
  • Based at Civic Centre, Wolverhampton
  • Office attendance required one day per week (Thursday)
