Social Worker - Learning Disabilities

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Adult Social Worker to join its client’s Learning Disabilities Team, based at Blackpool. 

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will:

  • Complete Care Act assessments, carrying out holistic assessments, support plans, and reviews for adults with learning disabilities, ensuring needs are met in the least restrictive way
  • Manage complex learning disability caseloads, including risk management, safeguarding concerns, and mental capacity issues
  • Coordinate multi‑agency interventions to promote safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with health and specialist services, including community LD nurses, psychologists, housing teams, day services, and providers
  • Deliver person‑centred, strengths‑based practice in line with legislation and best practice
