Social Worker - Adult Safeguarding / Duty Team

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Adult Qualified Social Worker for its client’s Adult Safeguarding / Duty Team, based at Wirral. This is an excellent locum opportunity offering competitive rates, hybrid working and a supportive team structure.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Lead and coordinate Care Act safeguarding enquiries, including triaging new concerns as part of the duty rota.
  • Complete strengths‑based Care Act assessments and Mental Capacity Assessments, developing outcome‑focused and person‑centred support plans.
  • Manage safeguarding cases involving risk, complex decision‑making, and multi‑agency working.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, health partners, and external agencies to ensure timely and effective safeguarding responses.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
