Social Worker – Looked After Children

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join its client in Looked After Children (LAC) Team in Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive authority, making a real difference to the lives of children in care.

What will your responsibilities be? 

  • Managing a caseload of looked after children
  • Completing care planning and pathway plans
  • Working closely with foster carers, families, and partner agencies
  • Attending reviews, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings
  • Ensuring all work is in line with statutory requirements and best practice

Qualifications and Experience: 

To be successful in this role you must have;  

  • Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
  • Strong experience within LAC / Children in Care teams
  • Good knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks
  • Ability to manage workloads effectively and work independently
