Occupational Therapist
Liquid Personnel is recruiting Occupational Therapist for its client in Newcastle upon Tyne.
We are recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join Newcastle Local Authority. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive team, carrying out assessments and delivering person-centred interventions to promote independence and improve outcomes.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Complete occupational therapy assessments and reviews.
- Develop and implement person-centred care and support plans.
- Recommend and arrange appropriate equipment and adaptations.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely case records.
- Ensure practice is compliant with relevant legislation and professional standards.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Previous experience within a local authority or community setting is desirable.
- Strong assessment, communication, and organisational skills.
