Support Worker
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Support Worker team, based in Stroud & Cotswold.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced family support professionals who are passionate about supporting children and families through targeted Early Help interventions.
What will your responsibilities be?
The role will involve:
- Holding a caseload of Early Help families.
- Carrying out home visits and completing assessments.
- Developing support plans and delivering targeted interventions.
- Working with children and families below the threshold for statutory social care intervention.
- Identifying safeguarding concerns and escalating cases to Children's Social Care where appropriate.
- Recording all casework using Liquid Logic (LCS & EHM).
We're keen to hear from candidates with experience in:
- Family Support or Family Intervention.
- Early Help services.
- Child in Need (CIN) or assessment work.
- Supporting vulnerable children and families.
- Completing assessments and managing caseloads.
Benefits:

- £20-25ph (depending on experience).
- Initial 12-week contract, with the potential for extension.
- Full-time preferred, although part-time applications will be considered for the right candidate.

- Candidates with less than 4 weeks' notice are preferred, although those with a 4-week notice period will also be considered.
