Occupational Therapist - Sensory Service

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Occupational Therapy and Sensory Service in Ealing.

Working within the Duty Team, you'll manage a varied caseload, responding to new referrals, completing timely assessments and supporting adults to maximise their independence through a strengths-based approach.

This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who enjoys a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary professionals to deliver effective, person-centred interventions.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a duty caseload, responding to new referrals and urgent assessments.
  • Complete functional assessments to identify individuals' needs and promote independence.
  • Recommend equipment, minor adaptations and appropriate interventions.
  • Work closely with social workers, health professionals and community partners.
  • Provide advice and guidance to residents, carers and professionals.
  • Complete accurate assessments, reports and case records.
  • Prioritise workload effectively while managing competing demands.
  • Apply strengths-based practice and relevant legislation within day-to-day decision-making.

Essential requirements

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Previous experience working within Adult Social Care or a community Occupational Therapy service.
  • Experience managing a duty or fast-paced occupational therapy caseload.
