Social Worker - Duty & Assessment

Liquid Personnel is recruiting Social Worker for its client's Duty & Assessment Team at Rochdale.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic team at the front door of Children's Services, where you'll play a key role in safeguarding children and supporting families at the point they need it most.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Undertake Child and Family Assessments.
  • Complete Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries.
  • Manage a varied caseload of children and families.
  • Work closely with partner agencies to ensure effective safeguarding interventions.
  • Attend strategy meetings, child protection conferences and legal proceedings where required.
  • Produce clear, analytical and child-focused assessments and reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

  • Social Work England registration.
  • Qualified Social Worker status.
  • Previous experience within Children's Services, ideally in Assessment, Duty, Safeguarding or Front Door teams.
  • Enhanced DBS.
