Assistant Team Manager - Families First (Non-Case Holding)
Liquid Personnel is recruiting Assistant Team Manager for its client's Families First (Non-Case Holding) Team at Spennymoor.
This is a non-case holding role, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Worker, Senior Practitioner, Advanced Practitioner, or Assistant Team Manager looking to develop their leadership skills and move into a more supportive management-focused position.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Supporting the Team Manager with the day-to-day operational management of the team
- Quality assuring assessments, plans, and casework
- Chairing team and professional meetings
- Providing guidance, mentoring, and support to Social Workers
- Assisting with the allocation of work across the team
- Supporting performance management and practice improvement
- Undertaking any additional tasks required to support the Team Manager and wider service

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- Social Work England registration
- Qualified Social Worker
- Strong knowledge of Children's Services and safeguarding practice
- Experience supporting and developing practitioners
- Previous management or supervisory experience is desirable but not essential
