Team Manager - Children in Care & Care Leavers Team
Liquid Personnel is recruiting Team Manager for its clients Children in Care & Care Leavers Team at Newcastle.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated team supporting children in care and young people transitioning into adulthood, ensuring positive outcomes and high-quality practice across the service.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Managing and supporting a team of Social Workers and Personal Advisors
- Providing effective leadership, supervision, and performance management
- Overseeing assessments, care planning, and pathway planning
- Ensuring statutory responsibilities and timescales are met
- Supporting children in care and care leavers to achieve positive outcomes
- Driving high standards of safeguarding and practice quality
- Working closely with partner agencies and stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Previous management or supervisory experience within Children's Services
- Strong knowledge of Children in Care and Care Leavers legislation and practice
- Experience managing performance and supporting practitioner development
- Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
