Social Worker - Help and Protect Team
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker for our client to join the Help and Protect Team at Sefton Council.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and well-established team focused on safeguarding children and supporting families through assessment, intervention, and child protection planning.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Manage a caseload of children and families requiring support and protection.
- Undertake Child and Family Assessments to identify needs and risks.
- Complete Child in Need and Child Protection work.
- Develop and implement effective care and support plans.
- Chair and contribute to multi-agency meetings where appropriate.
- Conduct statutory visits and maintain high-quality case recordings.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have;
- Social Work England registration.
- Qualified Social Worker status.
- Recent experience within Children's Social Care.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and procedures.
- Experience managing Child in Need, Child Protection, and court-related work.
- Excellent assessment and communication skills.
