Social Worker - Help and Protect Team

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker for our client to join the Help and Protect Team at Sefton Council.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and well-established team focused on safeguarding children and supporting families through assessment, intervention, and child protection planning.

What will your responsibilities be? 

• Manage a caseload of children and families requiring support and protection.
• Undertake Child and Family Assessments to identify needs and risks.
• Complete Child in Need and Child Protection work.
• Develop and implement effective care and support plans.
• Chair and contribute to multi-agency meetings where appropriate.
• Conduct statutory visits and maintain high-quality case recordings.
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications and Experience: 

To be successful in this role you must have;  

• Social Work England registration.
• Qualified Social Worker status.
• Recent experience within Children's Social Care.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and procedures.
• Experience managing Child in Need, Child Protection, and court-related work.
• Excellent assessment and communication skills.
