Social Worker - Child Protection

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Child Protection Social Worker to join its Children’s Services team. The role involves managing a caseload of children and families, undertaking statutory assessments and child protection enquiries, completing visits, assessing risk, and developing effective safeguarding plans.

The successful candidate will work closely with children, parents, carers and partner agencies to ensure children’s voices are heard, risks are appropriately managed, and positive outcomes are achieved.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Manage a caseload of complex child protection cases.
  • Undertake assessments, safeguarding enquiries and statutory visits.
  • Identify and assess risks to children and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Prepare reports and contribute to child protection conferences and reviews.
  • Work collaboratively with families and multi-agency professionals.
  • Maintain accurate case records and meet statutory timescales.
  • Promote child-centred, strengths-based social work practice.
  • Ensure children’s safety, welfare and best interests remain the priority.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
