Social Worker - Adult Care & Support
Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Adult’s Social Worker to join the Rhondda Fawr Care & Support Team within Rhondda Cynon Taf Council for its client
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and supportive Adult Services team that is committed to delivering positive outcomes for adults across the local community. The service has benefited from significant investment in recent years, strengthening preventative services and enhancing frontline support.
You will work alongside experienced managers and practitioners in a collaborative environment where social workers are encouraged to contribute to service development and drive positive change.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Manage a caseload of adults requiring assessment, care planning, and ongoing support.
- Undertake strengths-based assessments, reviews, and support planning.
- Work in accordance with the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act and Mental Capacity Act.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with partner agencies and multidisciplinary teams.
- Promote independence and wellbeing through person-centred practice.
- Complete timely and accurate case recordings and reports.
- Contribute to safeguarding and risk management processes where required.

Note - Successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and must maintain their Social Care Wales registration throughout the assignment.
Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have;
- A recognised Social Work qualification.
- Current registration with Social Care Wales.
- A minimum of 3 years' post-qualified Social Work experience.
- Experience working within Adult Social Care services.
- Strong assessment, communication, and care planning skills.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice.
- A commitment to anti-oppressive and strengths-based practice.
