Social Worker - Looked After Children
Liquid Personnel is recruiting Social Worker for its client's Looked After Children Team at West midlands.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Progressing children’s care and pathway plans, by ensuring that they are accessing the right level of service at the right time
- Undertaking statutory visits to children placed at home, in foster care, and within residential provisions in accordance with CLA requirements
- Case management and co-ordinating a range of meetings including care planning, risk management, placement stability, PEP’s, and review meetings
- Providing children and families with information and advice to assist in resolving problems.
- Some court work relating to revocation of care orders, SGO and placement order applications, as required.
- Participating in the team’s duty system
- Maintaining computerised records and documentation in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
- Collaborative working with parents, guardians, and other professionals

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
