This role, Mechanical Design Engineer II at LiquidStack, Inc., involves designing and visualizing mechanical concepts in both 3D and 2D, primarily using SolidWorks. Core Tasks:

• Design and prepare mechanical drawings in 3D and 2D for manufacturing and product development.
• Create precise, production-ready designs in SolidWorks.
• Support the team with visuals and animations for proposals and presentations.
• Verify accuracy and manufacturability of parts and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and operations.
• Contribute to a creative, fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and ethical standards.

Essential Skills:

• A diploma or higher diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a similar field.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• At least 2 years of relevant design experience, with consideration for talented recent graduates who have strong portfolios.
• Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
• Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
• Fluency in Cantonese.
• Demonstrates an eagerness to learn, apply feedback, and continuously grow.
• Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues with resourceful and strategic solutions.
• Works well with cross-functional and global teams.
• Demonstrates initiative and a cooperative, professional attitude.
