Position Summary

LiquidStack, a global leader in sustainable liquid cooling solutions for data centers and high-performance computing, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead and scale warehouse operations during a critical time of rapid growth.

This role requires a hands-on, adaptable leader who can create and refine processes, manage day-to-day operations, and drive efficiency in logistics, inventory control, and shipping. The Warehouse Supervisor will partner closely with Purchasing and Production to ensure on-time delivery of parts and finished goods while laying the foundation for scalable systems that support future production growth and global distribution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Material & Inventory Management

  • Oversee receipt, storage, internal distribution, and handling of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
  • Drive inventory accuracy and traceability through ERP/WMS systems to support timely production.
  • Partner with Purchasing to maintain adequate stock levels and prevent production delays.
  • Deliver materials to production areas as needed.

Shipping, Receiving & Transportation

  • Lead inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations.
  • Manage freight coordination, shipping documentation, and import/export compliance.
  • Operate a box truck to transport materials between facilities or to local vendors/customers.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and ensure safe vehicle operation.

Process Creation & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and document SOPs for warehouse processes in a startup environment.
  • Apply lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency and safety.
  • Identify process gaps and implement scalable, long-term solutions.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse team members.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Provide hands-on support and leadership to meet daily goals.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone) and other regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a safety-first mindset through proactive training and communication.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 5+ years of warehouse and logistics experience, preferably in a manufacturing or high-growth startup environment.
    • This should include at least 2-4 years in a supervisory or lead role with a minimum of 1 year specifically as a warehouse supervisor.
  • Strong understanding of shipping logistics, freight coordination, and inventory control.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS systems and proficiency in Excel or similar tools for tracking and reporting.
  • Forklift certification and clean driving record required.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause analysis.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where priorities shift quickly.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and 5S practices.
  • Experience with international logistics and import/export documentation is a strong plus.
